Hence the question whether anyone here has any idea about PFSense and MikroTik, how to set up a VLAN between the two specified devices via trunking. We even read through the Wiki entries, but no success here either. I searched various forums on how to set up VLANs on the PFSense / MikroTik, but none of them worked properly. We have accordingly configured the MikroTik as a switch and tried to establish the connection to the DHCP servers of the VLANs from the PFSense, via VLAN trunking to the MikroTik. Our second attempt was to put the DHCP server on the PFSense, as well as to manage 3 VLANs with it, which should be assigned via VLAN trunking. The devices receive an IP from the MikroTik's DHCP server, but the MikroTik cannot establish a connection to the internet. The problem here is that the MikroTik has no connection to the PFSense. The MikroTik was then configured according to the DHCP server. Our first attempt was to set up the PFSense as a firewall and DHCP relay.
